Abstract

The poem is a critique of the futile wars in West Asia, where disputes between nations for a variety of causes have caused an untimely upheaval in the world economy. West Asian nations, which were formerly renowned for their artistic and cultural achievements, are today the victims of unavoidable conflicts that have killed a great number of young children. There were fears of worldwide technological disruptions and fuel shortages lead to worldwide inflation and put at risk the standard of living for most people. They return to the Stone Age because of these conflicts, destroying civilization. The wars threaten the stability of peace and future of the world. The poem insists that there is a great need of shielding the globe from wars to restore peace.
